My wife is the medicine. I'm the build. Together we take veterinary hospitals from bare dirt to open doors — twice now, and counting.

Nicole runs the practice the way she always said she would — calm rooms, unhurried appointments, and medicine she'd want for her own animals. I carried the other half: the property, the build, the brand, and the systems behind the front desk.

Nicole Sorensen, DVM is the reason either hospital deserves to exist — a veterinarian people drive past other clinics to see. What I bring is everything that has to be true before a great vet can practice: the land, the financing, the construction timeline, the equipment decisions, the brand, and the marketing engine that fills the schedule from day one.
We've been owner-operators together before: we bought and ran The Valley House Inn for two and a half years, then sold it so Nicole could chase veterinary medicine. The hospitals are that same bet, made bigger.
Building a hospital while the market says "just join a corporate group" is a contrarian bet. We've now made it twice — on purpose. Independent practices, staffed and systematized to run well, in communities that need them.
